Nostalgia 2002-2006
Nostalgia and memory are bedrock concepts that I have explored in my work. I am interested in the subjectivity of nostalgia and the selectivity of memory. Nostalgia for the past, selection of memories and, the invention of memories, shapes and guides our understanding of the present. I use photography, oil painting and memory to explore and shape my own recollections and memories.
